Giant Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sugar .
  • Dough .
  • 4 tsps cinnamon .
  • 2 tbsps yeast .
  • 2 tbsps salt .
  • Cream Cheese Frosting .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1 tbsp milk .
  • 1 c butter, melted .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 c vegetable oil .
  • 3 c powdered sugar .
  • Filling .
  • 1/2 c butter, softened .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 4 c warm water .
  • 13 c flour .
  • 1/2 c raisins (optional) .
  • 2 c packed light brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Dissolve yeast & warm water in a very large mixing bowl for about 5 mins.
  • Step #2 Add sugar & stir.
  • Step #3 Stir in lightly beaten eggs & oil.
  • Step #4 Gradually mix in flour & salt to liquid mixture.
  • Step #5 You might not need entire amount of flour.
  • Step #6 Add enough until dough begins to move away from sides of bowl & is soft but manageable.
  • Step #7 Cover up dough & let rise until doubled.
  • Step #8 Punch dough down & divide in half.
  • Step #9 Roll out one half into a rectangle.
  • Step #10 Combine filling ingredients except raisins.
  • Step #11 Spread evenly over rectangle with rubber spatula.
  • Step #12 Sprinkle top evenly with raisins if desired.
  • Step #13 Roll up dough, beginning at long end.
  • Step #14 Pinch ends to seal.
  • Step #15 Using thread or dental floss, slice into rolls, about 14.
  • Step #16 Place cut side down in a greased pan.
  • Step #17 Repeat with remaining half of dough & filling.
  • Step #18 Cover up & let rise until doubled.
  • Step #19 Bake at 350 for 15-20 mins.
  • Step #20 Time varies from oven to oven.
  • Step #21 Check at earliest time to prevent over browning.
  • Step #22 For frosting, beat together softened cream cheese & butter.
  • Step #23 Beat in milk & vanilla.
  • Step #24 Gradually beat in powdered sugar; beating until smooth.
  • Step #25 Generously frost warm rolls, about 5 mins after removing from oven.
