Ingredients
  • 1 dash salt .
  • 1 pint softened chocolate ice cream .
  • 3 egg whites (room temperature) .
  • 1 loaf angel food cake, 7x4-inch cut horizontally into slices .
  • 1 c marshmallow creme .
  • 1 pint softened strawberry ice cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Spread one slice of cake with strawberry ice cream.
  • Step #2 Spread second slice of cake with chocolate ice cream.
  • Step #3 Repeat until all slices are coated.
  • Step #4 Stack slices together to reform a loaf.
  • Step #5 Wrap in plastic wrap & freeze overnight.
  • Step #6 Just before serving, beat egg whites & salt.
  • Step #7 Gradually add marshmallow creme, beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Step #8 Spread mixture over frozen cake, sealing carefully to edges.
  • Step #9 Bake in 500F oven for 2-3 mins until lightly browned.
  • Step #10 Watch so it doesn't burn.
  • Step #11 Slice & serve as soon as possible.
