Chocolate Chip Cookiesii Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 3/4 c margarine
  • 4 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 c shortening

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, margarine, cream together the shortening, white sugar & brown sugar until smooth.
  • Step #3 Mix in the vanilla & eggs until well mixed.
  • Step #4 Combine the flour, baking soda & baking powder; stir in theto the creamed mixture until just mixed.
  • Step #5 Mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Step #6 Drop by heaping tspfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #7 Cookies should be at least 2 inches apart.
  • Step #8 Bake for 8 to 10 mins in the preheated oven, until edges are golden.
  • Step #9 Let cookies cool for an hr or so before eating.
  • Step #10 You can try them fresh from the oven, but they will crumble & fall apart.
