• 2 1/2 c monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded* .
• 1/8 tsp pepper .
• 1/4 tsp chili powder .
• 6 medium potatoes, peeled & sliced into 1/4-inch pieces .
• 1/3 c butter, melted .
• 1 medium onion, sliced .
• 1/2 tsp salt .
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

• Step #1 Combine potatoes & onions.
• Step #2 Mix together butter & spices, drizzle over potatoes & onions.
• Step #3 Toss to coat.
• Step #4 In a 2 quart oval with flat bottom (or something similar) dish spread half the potatoe mixture top this with half the cheese repeat one more time.
• Step #5 Bake 40-45 mins in 400F degree oven uncovered.
• Step #6 *I did not have any pepper jack cheese but did have some peppers & jack cheese so i sliced up the peppers grated the jack cheese & subbed this for pepper jack cheese.
