Moist Caramel Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (18 oz) package yellow cake mix .
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 20 caramels, unwrapped .
  • 1 (3 oz) box vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix (or sugar free) .
  • 1/3 c vegetable oil .
  • 1 c water .
  • 3 granny smith apples, peeled, coarsely sliced .
  • 4 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F Grease & flour 12 c fluted tube pan or 10 inch tube pan.
  • Step #2 Beat cake mix, water, dry pudding mix, eggs & oil in large bowl with electric mixer on lowish speed until mixed.
  • Step #3 Beat on high speed 2 min Gently stir in theapples.
  • Step #4 Pour into prepared pan.
  • Step #5 Bake 50 min to 1 hr or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #6 Cool 20 min.
  • Step #7 ; remove this from pan.
  • Step #8 Cool completely on wire rack.
  • Step #9 Microwave caramels & milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min.
  • Step #10 , stirring every 30 sec.
  • Step #11 until mixed.
  • Step #12 Cool 10 min until slightly thickened.
  • Step #13 Drizzle over cake.
