Hot German Potato Salad Recipe

Ingredients

2 tbsps flour .
1 dash pepper .
1/3 c vinegar .
3/4 c sliced onions .
9 medium potatoes .
9 slices bacon .
2 tbsps sugar .
1/2 tsp celery seeds .
3/4 c water .
2 tsps salt

Directions

Step #1 Pare & cook potatoes til tender 30-35 mins Drain & set aside.
Step #2 In a large skillet, fry bacon til crisp.
Step #3 remove & drain.
Step #4 Cook & stir sliced onion in bacon drippings til tender & golden.
Step #5 Stir in flour, salt, sugar, celery seed & pepper.
Step #6 Cook on low heat, stirring til bubbly.
Step #7 Remove from heat.
Step #8 Add water & vinegar.
Step #9 Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Step #10 Boil & stir for one min.
Step #11 Remove from heat.
Step #12 Crumble bacon & slice potatoes.
Step #13 Carefuly stir bacon & potatoes into hot mixture in skillet.
Step #14 Heat thoroughly, stirring lightly to coat potato slices.
