Cinnamon Nut Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c sliced walnuts
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder & salt.
  • Step #2 Stir in butter, eggs, milk & vanilla; set aside.
  • Step #3 Combine all topping ingredients.
  • Step #4 Spread half the batter into a greased 12-in.
  • Step #5 x 8-in.
  • Step #6 x 2-in.
  • Step #7 baking pan.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with half of the topping.
  • Step #9 Carefully spread remaining batter over topping, then sprinkle with remaining topping.
  • Step #10 Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 mins or until cake tests done.
