Christmas Brunch Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 lbs bulk pork sausage
  • 3 c crisp rice cereal
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 c cooked rice
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 6 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 In a skillet, cook sausage & onion over med-heat/flame until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • Step #2 Place in a lightly greased 13-in.
  • Step #3 x 9-in.
  • Step #4 x 2-in.
  • Step #5 baking dish.
  • Step #6 Layer with the rice, cereal & cheddar cheese.
  • Step #7 In a bowl, beat the eggs, soup & milk.
  • Step #8 Spread over top.
  • Step #9 Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 55-60 mins or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #10 Let stand for 5 mins before cutting.
  • Step #11 Refrigerate any leftovers.
