Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vinegar .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 onion .
  • 100 ml breadcrumbs .
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 1 tsp oregano .
  • 500 g ground beef .
  • 2 tsps honey .
  • 2 tsps salt .
  • 1 tsp black pepper .
  • 2 medium beetroots, raw .
  • 200 ml sparkling water or water

Directions
  • Step #1 Chop onion finely & grate beetroots.
  • Step #2 Fry in butter until soft.
  • Step #3 Add vinegar & honey & cool down.
  • Step #4 In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs & sparkling water.
  • Step #5 Mix & let sit for 15 mins.
  • Step #6 Add spices, cooled down onion-beet mixture, egg & the ground beef.
  • Step #7 Mix thoroughly.
  • Step #8 Make into patties & fry until done.
  • Step #9 Serve with mashed potatoes.
