Tender Lemon Parsleyed Chicken (stove Or Oven) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (3 1/3 lb) chickens, cut up .
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice, concentrate ok to use .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 1/2 c finely sliced fresh parsley .
  • 4 tbsps butter .
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 In deep frying pan with lid, melt butter over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add onion.
  • Step #3 Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt & pepper, good side down.
  • Step #4 Brown chicken.
  • Step #5 Turn pieces over, sprinkle chicken with lemon juice, place on lid.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Step #7 Cook for about 40 mins, stirring onions & turning chicken only once or twice as needed.
  • Step #8 Or pour this into a casserole dish, covered, arrange chicken nicely, sprinkle with lemon juice & bake, in a 350º oven for 45 mins or til done.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top chicken liberally with parsley & recover during last 2 mins.
