Cranberry-ginger Dipping Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp soya sauce .
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries, rinsed & dried .
  • 1 c sugar .
  • 1 tbsp dry vermouth .
  • 1/4 c sliced crystallized ginger .
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium saucepan, mix sugar with one c water.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil over med-heat/flame & cook five mins.
  • Step #3 Add cranberries.
  • Step #4 Return to a boil.
  • Step #5 Cook stirring once or twice just til their skins pop.
  • Step #6 (about 5 mins).
  • Step #7 Stir in ginger, vermouth, soya sauce & cayenne.
  • Step #8 Remove from heat.
  • Step #9 Allow to cool.
  • Step #10 Serve at about room temp.
