Ingredients
  • 3 c shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper .
  • 1/2 c flour .
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard .
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni (or rotini pasta) .
  • 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce .
  • 4 1/2 c nonfat milk .
  • 4 tbsps unsalted butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • Step #2 Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain While macaroni is cooking, melt butter In a large-ish saucepan over low heat/flame.
  • Step #3 Stir in flour, salt, pepper, mustard & Worcestershire sauce.
  • Step #4 Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth & bubbly; remove this from heat.
  • Step #5 Stir in milk.
  • Step #6 Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Step #7 Boil & stir 1 min.
  • Step #8 Stir in cheese.
  • Step #9 Cook, stirring every once in awhile, until cheese is melted.
  • Step #10 Gently stir macaroni into cheese sauce.
  • Step #11 Pour into ungreased 4-quart (or larger)casserole.
  • Step #12 Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 mins or until bubbly.
