Prawns In A Pink Sauce - Curry 1 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsps tomato puree .
  • 1/4 tsp sugar .
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard seeds .
  • 2 lbs prawns, peeled .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 c single cream .
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne .
  • 1 c water .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced .
  • 4 tsps lemon juice .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 1 1/4 tsps grated ginger .
  • 3 tbsps oil .
  • Sauce .
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
  • Step #2 Cover up & put in the fridge until needed.
  • Step #3 Heat oil In a large-ish frying pan over a medium high heat.
  • Step #4 When hot put in the mustard seeds.
  • Step #5 As soon as they begin to pop put in the garlic.
  • Step #6 Stir once & put in the prawns - stir & fry until they just turn opaque, sprinkling with salt & pepper.
  • Step #7 Pour in the sauce & stir.
  • Step #8 As soon as the sauce is bubbling the dish is ready to be served with rice.
