Fire Hot Chilli Paste (sambal) - Indonesian Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large sliced onion .
  • 3/4 c lemon juice .
  • 1 lb habanero peppers (very very hot) .
  • 12 garlic cloves .
  • 3/4 c sugar .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt

Directions
  • Step #1 You can omit the sugar if you do not like sweet.
  • Step #2 Bring all ingredients to a boil, lower heat & let simmer to half the consistancy, 20 mins, stirring to prevent burning at bottom of pan.
  • Step #3 Cool & liquify the cooled above in mixer.
  • Step #4 Serve at about room temp.
