Tea Room Scones Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c white chocolate chips (optional) .
  • 1/2 c butter (real) .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1/4 c sugar .
  • 1 tbsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c half-and-half .
  • 2 c flour .
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries (optional) .
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut butter into flour, sugar & baking powder.
  • Step #2 Mix together egg, half n half & vanilla.
  • Step #3 Blend wet ingredients with dry ingredients.
  • Step #4 Place on floured board, knead ten times (no more or will become to tough).
  • Step #5 Pat out & cut with a floured biscuit cutter or glass.
  • Step #6 Place on baking sheet & brush with a mixture of half n half & vanilla over tops.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees till brown on top & bottom like biscuits 15 - 20 mins.
