Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
  • 5 tbsps butter
  • 1 c white sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine cake mix, cherry pie filling, & three eggs.
  • Step #2 Mix until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Bake in well greased & floured 9 x 13 pan.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 mins.
  • Step #5 To Make Frosting: Combine sugar, butter or margarine, & milk.
  • Step #6 Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, & cook 1 min.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat.
  • Step #8 Stir in chocolate pieces until melted & smooth.
  • Step #9 Frost when cake is cool.
