Pesto Oven-fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 whole chicken legs (about 2 3/4 lb) .
  • 1/2 c seasoned dry bread crumbs .
  • 1/2 c reduced-fat basil pesto

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 400F degrees; line a rimmed baking sheet with release foil wrap (for easy cleanup) place a metal rack on foil wrap.
  • Step #2 Spread pesto on chicken to cover; put bread crumbs In a large-ish plastic bag; add 2 legs at a time, close bag & shake until chicken is coated, Place chicken on rack.
  • Step #3 Bake 50 mins or until coating is golden & chicken is cooked through.
