The Galloping Gourmet's Turkey Breast With Fresh Herbs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh parsley .
  • 4 fresh sage leaves .
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs .
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper .
  • 1 (4 lb) whole boneless turkey breast (with skin) .
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled & sliced .
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 325*F.
  • Step #2 Split the turkey breast, remove the skin, & set skin aside.
  • Step #3 Place sage, & salt on one half of turkey breast, parsley, garlic, thyme, pepper, & place the other half on top.
  • Step #4 Put it in a medium-size loaf pan, tucking reserved skin around the breast to seal in juices.
  • Step #5 Bake for approximately 2 1/3 hrs (the standard is 35 mins per lb).
  • Step #6 Poke the turkey with a fork.
  • Step #7 When the juices run clear, turkey is done.
