Healthy Start Breakfast Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt & pepper, to taste .
  • 2 slices Canadian bacon .
  • 1 slice tomatoes .
  • 1-2 slice swiss cheese .
  • 1/2 tbsp butter .
  • 1 whole wheat English muffin

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven (or toaster oven) to 400F degrees; toast muffin directly on oven rack.
  • Step #2 Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet (or toaster-oven tray) & spread with the 1/2 tbsp butter.
  • Step #3 Layer bottom half with the 2 slices Canadian bacon, the cheese & the tomato, sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Return to oven; bake this until cheese has melted, about 5 mins; top this with other half of muffin half, Enjoy.
