Chicken Wings With Thai Sweet & Hot Chili Glaze Recipe

Ingredients
  • kosher salt .
  • 2 tsps dark sesame oil .
  • fresh ground black pepper .
  • 1/4 c sweet chili sauce .
  • vegetable oil .
  • 16 chicken wings, wing tips removed .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger .
  • 1 tbsp hot chili-garlic sauce, such as sriracha

Directions
  • Step #1 Make the glaze, in a small bowl, whisk the sauces, sesame oil & ginger together.
  • Step #2 Trim excess skin from the edges of the wings.
  • Step #3 Lightly brush or spray with the oil, & season this with salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #4 Grill the chicken wings over Direct Medium heat until the skin begins to crisp, about 10 mins, turning once or twice.
  • Step #5 Brush the wings with the glaze & continue to grill until the meat is no longer pink at the bone, 8 to 10 mins, turning & brushing with the glaze 2 or 3 times.
  • Step #6 Serve warm.
