Mum's Rice And Nut Loaf Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sliced parsley .
  • 2 tbsps oil (or bacon fat) .
  • 1 c thick tomato puree or tomato sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp sage .
  • 2 c cooked rice (brown is best) .
  • pepper .
  • 2 onions, sliced fine .
  • 2 tbsps sliced celery .
  • 1 c cracker crumbs .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 c sliced walnuts

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients.
  • Step #2 Place in a greased loaf pan.
  • Step #3 Bake 350F for 1 hr.
  • Step #4 Serve with tomato sauce.
