Swedish Sausage Potato Cakes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 1 1/2 c mashed potatoes .
  • 1/4 lb pork sausage .
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Crumble & brown the sausage.
  • Step #2 Drain & reserve the drippings.
  • Step #3 Add browned sausage, potatoes, egg, & about a tbsp of drippings in a bowl.
  • Step #4 Add salt to taste.
  • Step #5 Form into 4 patties, & fry in some of the reserved drippings, browning both sides (add some vegetable oil, if needed).
  • Step #6 Serve hot.
