Caramel Cheesecake Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter, melted .
  • 1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs .
  • 1 c sliced pecans, divided .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 1/4 c caramel topping .
  • 1 tbsp vanilla .
  • 4 (250 g) packages cream cheese, softened .
  • 1 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Line 9x13 pan with foil wrap (extend 3 inches of foil wrap over short side of pan).
  • Step #3 create handles by crunching up extended foil wrap, & grease foil wrap lining.
  • Step #4 Mix graham crumbs & 1/2 c of pecans & butter.
  • Step #5 Press firmly onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Step #6 Beat cream cheese & sugar with mixer on medium until well mixed Add sour cream & vanilla.
  • Step #7 Mix well.
  • Step #8 Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition on low until mixed.
  • Step #9 Pour over crust.
  • Step #10 Bake 45 mins or til centre is almost set.
  • Step #11 Refridgerate 4 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #12 Lift out of pan onto cutting board, using foil wrap handles.
  • Step #13 Drizzle with topping & remaining 1/2 c pecans & cut into bars (32).
