Scottish Stand-by Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps sugar .
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar .
  • 50 ml whiskey .
  • 2 tbsps sliced semisweet chocolate .
  • 100 ml rolled oats .
  • 200 ml whipping cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Carefully toast oats in a skillet on top of the stove, stirring frequently, until golden.
  • Step #2 Let cool.
  • Step #3 Add sugar, vanilla sugar & sliced chocolate to the oats, stir.
  • Step #4 Whip cream until stiff peaks form; fold in the oat-chocolate mixture.
  • Step #5 Add whiskey & stir this to mix.
  • Step #6 Divide between dishes & put in the fridge for at least 2 hrs.
  • Step #7 Garnish with extra sliced chocolate.
