Sesame-ginger Tuna On Skewers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps sesame oil .
  • 2 lbs tuna or swordfish, cut into 2-inch cubes .
  • 4 tbsps sesame seeds, toasted .
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper .
  • 3 limes, juice of .
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 1 tsp honey .
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar .
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced .
  • 1/4 c minced fresh cilantro .
  • 2 minced garlic cloves

Directions
  • Step #1 Make a marinade by combining everything except cilantro, sesame seeds & lime juice, into a small bowl & whisking the ingredients.
  • Step #2 Marinate the fish for two hrs prior to grilling.
  • Step #3 Remove fish from marinade & coat with sesame seeds.
  • Step #4 Grill for about 5-8 mins on skewers.
  • Step #5 Remove from skewers & sprinkle with cilantro & lime juice.
  • Step #6 Soak bamboo skewers in water for an hr before skewering the fish.
  • Step #7 This recipe is great with rice.
