Cold Wine Soup (kalte Weinsuppe) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c dry white wine .
  • 1 tsp orange zest .
  • 5 c vegetable broth .
  • 3 orange slices, thin, cut in half .
  • 1 c whipped cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine broth, wine & orange peel in a 2 quart pot.
  • Step #2 Bring to a fast boil, remove this from heat, & pour this into bowl or soup tureen.
  • Step #3 Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled (about 3 hrs).
  • Step #4 Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top & garnish with half an orange slice.
