Coconut Chocolate Cakei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c evaporated milk
  • 1 (16 oz) container prepared chocolate fudge frosting
  •  
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 (14 oz) package flaked coconut
  •  
  • 1 1/3 c brewed coffee
  • 25 large marshmallows

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare & bake cake mix according to package directions for two 9 inch round pans, except substitute brewed coffee for the water.
  • Step #2 Cool cakes completely.
  • Step #3 Make the Filling: In a saucepan over med-heat/flame, mix butter & evaporated milk.
  • Step #4 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #5 Add the marshmallows & stir until melted & smooth.
  • Step #6 Stir in coconut.
  • Step #7 Assemble the cake: Place bottom layer on serving plate.
  • Step #8 Spread with entire coconut filling.
  • Step #9 Cover top & sides with fudge frosting.
  • Step #10 Refrigerate.
