Crescent Tarts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c sliced walnuts
  • 4 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut the butter into the flour & mix until the mixture resemble coarse crumbs.
  • Step #2 Stir in the sour cream.
  • Step #3 Cover & put in the fridge cough overnight.
  • Step #4 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #5 Bake cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 25 mins.
  • Step #6 Combine the sugar, sliced nuts & cinnamon.
  • Step #7 Divide chilled dough into quarters.
  • Step #8 On a lightly floured surface roll out dough into circles 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step #9 Cut into wedges & sprinkle with the nut mixture.
  • Step #10 Roll up into crescent shapes, starting with the wide end first.
  • Step #11 Sprinkle top cooled cookies with confectioners' sugar.
