Peach Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sugar .
  • 5 tbsps amaretto liqueur or orange juice concentrate .
  • 3/4 c fresh lemon juice .
  • 4 c peeled & sliced fresh peaches, & their juice

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixer, whip peaches & their juice until smooth.
  • Step #2 Heat remaining ingredients in a saucepan over low heat/flame until sugar is dissolved.
  • Step #3 Remove from heat & stir in the peach puree.
  • Step #4 Pour into an 8-inch square pan & set in freezer.
  • Step #5 Using a rubber spatula, stir every 15 mins until creamy, about 2 hrs.
  • Step #6 Cover up & allow to freeze.
  • Step #7 To serve, scoop into small dishes & garnish with fresh fruit.
