Debs Veal And Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c port wine .
  • 4 veal scallopini, lbed thin .
  • 1/4 c chicken stock .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 1 c seasoned flour .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 1/2 c heavy cream .
  • 2 c wild mushrooms

Directions
  • Step #1 Dredge the veal in the seasoned flour.
  • Step #2 In a skillet heat butter over med/high heat & saute the veal until lightly golden on both sides, remove this from skillet & keep warm.
  • Step #3 Add mushrooms to the skillet & saute until tender, then add the port & reduce until thick & syrupy.
  • Step #4 Add the heavy cream & chicken stock & reduce furthur until sauce lightly coats the back of a spoon.
  • Step #5 Place veal on serving plates & spoon sauce over the top.
