Spinach Quiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c (4 oz) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 (15-oz) package put in the fridged piecrusts
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (10-oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed & well drained
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Roll each piecrust into a 12-inch square; cut each square into 24 pieces.
  • Step #2 Shape into balls, & press into lightly greased miniature muffin pans.
  • Step #3 Melt butter In a large-ish skillet over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #4 Add onions & parsley; sauté until onions are tender.
  • Step #5 Add spinach; cook 2 mins.
  • Step #6 Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, & pepper.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat.
  • Step #8 Whisk together eggs & milk until mixed; stir in the cheese.
  • Step #9 Add egg mixture to spinach mixture; spoon evenly into prepared pans.
  • Step #10 Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 mins.
  • Step #11 Remove as soon as possible from pans, & cool on wire racks.
  • Step #12 Freeze quiches up to 2 months.
  • Step #13 Note: Thaw frozen quiches in refrigerator; bake this at 300° for 10 mins or until thoroughly heated.
