Tapenade Twists Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 (17.3-oz) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
  • 3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsps sliced fresh basil
  • 1 c pitted kalamata olives

Directions
  • Step #1 Process first 4 ingredients in a food processor/blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  • Step #2 Unfold pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface, & press out fold lines.
  • Step #3 Roll to a 12- x 10-inch rectangle.
  • Step #4 Spread olive mixture over lengthwise half of rectangle to within 1 inch of long edge; fold remaining pastry half over filling.
  • Step #5 Roll carefully with a rolling pin to flatten; pinch edges to seal.
  • Step #6 Cut crosswise into 20 (1/2-inch) strips.
  • Step #7 Twist each strip 3 times, & place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Step #8 Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 mins.
  • Step #9 Remove to wire racks to cool.
  • Step #10 Store in an airtight container.
