Ingredients
1 to 2 tsps Thai chili-garlic sauce or paste
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, & sliced
1/2 tsp salt
Peanut oil
24 wontons
2 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp lime juice
12 oz lump crabmeat, drained & coarsely sliced
2 tbsps vegetable oil
2 tbsps sliced pickled ginger
3 tbsps rice wine vinegar
2 tbsps sesame seeds, toasted
1 tsp sesame oil
Directions
Step #1 Whisk together rice wine vinegar & next 5 ingredients.
Step #2 Stir in crabmeat & next 3 ingredients.
Step #3 Cover up & chill until ready to serve.
Step #4 Pour peanut oil to a depth of 1/2 inch into a large skillet.
Step #5 Fry wontons, in batches, in hot oil over medium-high heat 30 seconds on each side or until golden.
Step #6 Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step #7 Serve wontons with salsa.
Step #8 NOTE: Chili-garlic sauce or paste may be found in the Asian section of the supermarket or in gourmet stores.
