Garlic And Sun-dried Tomato Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (15-oz) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
  • 2 tbsps sliced oil-packed sun-dried tomato halves
  • 1/4 c water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 (6-inch) pitas, each cut into 10 wedges
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  •  Cooking spray
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 425°.
  • Step #2 Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Place pita wedges on pan, & coat with cooking spray.
  • Step #4 Bake at 425° for 6 mins or until golden.
  • Step #5 Combine water, garlic, & beans in a food processor/blender, salt, tomato, pepper, & process until smooth.
  • Step #6 Serve with pita wedges.
