Warm Olives With Wild Herbs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c picholine olives
  • 2 fresh savory sprigs
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1/4 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 c extravirgin olive oil
  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig
  • 3/4 c niçoise olives

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Step #2 Cook 5 mins or until warm.
  • Step #3 Place olive mixture in a medium bowl; let this stand at about room temp at least 6 hrs.
  • Step #4 Drain olives in a colander over a bowl; discard stems.
  • Step #5 Reserve oil for another use, if desired.
