Rosemary Cheese With Fig Preserves Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh rosemary
  • 2 tsps honey
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground pepper
  •  Garnish: fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 3/4 c fig preserves
  •  Crackers, toasted French bread slices, or bagel chips
  • 1 (3-oz) log goat cheese, softened
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Process first 5 ingredients in a food processor/blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  • Step #2 Spoon cheese mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2-c mold lined with plastic wrap.
  • Step #3 Cover up & chill 2 hrs.
  • Step #4 Invert chilled cheese mixture onto a serving dish; discard plastic wrap.
  • Step #5 Spoon fig preserves over cheese.
  • Step #6 Garnish, if desired.
  • Step #7 Serve with crackers, toasted French bread slices, or bagel chips.
