Sweetheart Biscuits With Apple-chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 c all-purpose baking mix
  • 2/3 c frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp red food coloring
  •  Apple-Chicken Salad

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine baking mix, juice concentrate, & food coloring, stirring to form a soft dough.
  • Step #2 Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 6 to 8 times.
  • Step #3 Roll to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 1 1/2-inch heart-shaped cutter, & place cutouts on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Step #4 Bake at 400° for 7 to 9 mins or until lightly browned; remove to a wire rack to cool.
  • Step #5 Split biscuits, & fill with Apple-Chicken Salad.
  • Step #6 Note: To make ahead, bake as directed, & freeze.
  • Step #7 Thaw; reheat, if desired.
