Ingredients
1 tsp dried thyme
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c (2 oz) finely shredded smoked gouda cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 c dry white wine
1/2 c low-fat sour cream
1 tbsp green-onion tops (optional)
3 tbsps sliced fresh parsley
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 (8-oz) package button mushrooms
1/4 c (2 oz) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese, softened
1 garlic clove, halved
2 tbsps all-purpose flour
2 (6-oz) packages portobello mushroom caps, quartered
Directions
Step #1 Place half of the mushrooms in a food processor/blender, & process until finely sliced.
Step #2 Spoon sliced mushrooms into a large skillet.
Step #3 Place the remaining mushrooms & garlic in processor, & process until finely sliced.
Step #4 Spoon mushroom mixture into pan; add wine & thyme.
Step #5 Cook over medium-high heat for 10 mins or until liquid almost evaporates.
Step #6 Sprinkle top the mixture with flour, & stir well.
Step #7 Stir in cream cheese, salt, lemon juice, & pepper; cook 1 min.
Step #8 Spoon into a serving bowl; cover & cool.
Step #9 Stir in gouda, sour cream, & parsley.
Step #10 Sprinkle top with green-onion tops, if desired.
Step #11 Cover up & chill in the fridge.
