Grilled Scallops With Creole Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Creole Tomato Sauce
  • 24 large sea scallops (about 2 1/4 lbs)
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  •  Garnish: fresh thyme sprigs
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsps olive oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Brush scallops with olive oil; sprinkle with salt & pepper.
  • Step #2 Grill, over high heat (400° to 500°) 4 to 5 mins or just until scallops are opaque, without grill lid, turning once.
  • Step #3 Serve warm with Creole Tomato Sauce.
  • Step #4 Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs.
