Cream Cheese-olive Spread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c finely sliced pimiento-stuffed Spanish olives
  • 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh chives

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together cream cheese, Spanish olives, & 1 Tbsp.
  • Step #2 mayonnaise.
  • Step #3 Shape cream cheese mixture into 2 (6-inch) logs; wrap in plastic wrap, & chill at least 30 mins, or store this in the refrigerator in an airtight container up to 2 days.
  • Step #4 Place pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan.
  • Step #5 Bake pecans at 350° for 8 mins or until lightly toasted, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #6 Let cool 30 mins or until completely cool.
  • Step #7 Roll cream cheese log in sliced chives & toasted pecans just before serving.
