Step #3 Shape cream cheese mixture into 2 (6-inch) logs; wrap in plastic wrap, & chill at least 30 mins, or store this in the refrigerator in an airtight container up to 2 days.
Step #4 Place pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan.
Step #5 Bake pecans at 350° for 8 mins or until lightly toasted, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #6 Let cool 30 mins or until completely cool.
Step #7 Roll cream cheese log in sliced chives & toasted pecans just before serving.
