Shrimp And Fennel In Hot Garlic Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 c thinly sliced fennel bulb (about 3/4 lb)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsps fresh lime juice
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 3/4 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  •  Lime wedges (optional)
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil In a large-ish nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Add sliced fennel, freshly ground black pepper, garlic, salt, & bay leaf; cook 5 mins or until fennel is crisp-tender, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #3 Add red pepper & shrimp to pan; cook 3 mins or until shrimp are done, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #4 Stir in lime juice.
  • Step #5 Serve with lime wedges, if desired.
