Chicken Or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c minced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 2 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen green peas
  • 1 (16 oz) package linguine pasta
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans water
  • 4 c sliced cooked chicken breast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c minced onion
  • 1/2 c cooking sherry
  • 3 c sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • paprika to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add pasta & cook for 8 to 10 mins or until al dente; drain & set aside.
  • Step #3 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #4 Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #5 Add mushrooms, onion & bell pepper & saute until tender.
  • Step #6 Stir in cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth & water & cook, stirring, until heated through.
  • Step #7 Stir in pasta, Worcestershire sauce, sherry, salt, peas, Cheddar cheese, pepper & chicken.
  • Step #8 Mix well & transfer mixture to a lightly greased 11x14 inch baking dish.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese & paprika.
  • Step #10 Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 mins, or until heated through.
