Sardine Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 to 2 tbsps capers, rinsed & drained
  • 2 (4.375-oz) cans boneless, skinless sardines in olive oil
  • 1 (8-oz) container cream cheese with chive & onion
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1 tsp fresh dillweed
  • 4 (2 1/2- x 2 1/2-inch) squares focaccia bread, split

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients; spread on cut sides of focaccia.
  • Step #2 Arrange sardines, capers, & onion on cream cheese mixture on 4 pieces of focaccia.
  • Step #3 Top with remaining bread.
