2 tbsps chilled stick margarine, cut into small pieces
Directions
Step #1 Combine flour, baking powder, salt, & 1/4 tsp pepper in a bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry mixer or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Step #2 Add cheese; toss well.
Step #3 Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Step #4 Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface, & knead 4 or 5 times.
Step #5 Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch decorative cookie cutter.
Step #6 Place biscuits 1 inch apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray, & brush with egg white; sprinkle with remaining pepper.
Step #7 Bake at 425° for 15 mins or until lightly browned.
