Honey-molasses Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsps water
  • 6 chicken drumsticks, skinned

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 7 ingredients, stirring with a whisk.
  • Step #2 Heat oil In a large-ish nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #3 Sprinkle top the chicken with salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Add chicken to pan, browning on all sides.
  • Step #5 Add honey mixture to pan, turning chicken to coat.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat to medium-low.
  • Step #7 Cover up & cook 15 mins or until chicken is done, turning chicken every 5 mins.
  • Step #8 Uncover & cook an extra 1 min or until mixture is thick & a mahogany color, & chicken is well coated.
  • Step #9 Remove from heat; cool 15 mins.
  • Step #10 Cover up & chill in the fridge.
