Jumbo Shrimp Rolls With Sweet Soy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 28 unpeeled jumbo shrimp
  • 1/4 c minced fresh cilantro
  • 2 tsps red curry paste
  • 28 won ton wrappers
  •  Vegetable oil
  •  Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel shrimp, if desired, leaving tails on; devein, & set aside.
  • Step #2 Combine cilantro, garlic, & red curry paste.
  • Step #3 Brush 1 side of each won ton wrapper with egg white.
  • Step #4 Spoon 1/4 tsp cilantro mixture in center of each wrapper.
  • Step #5 Top with one shrimp.
  • Step #6 Fold wrapper around shrimp; leave tail exposed, & press wrapper to seal.
  • Step #7 Pour oil to a depth of 3 inches in a Dutch oven; heat to 350°.
  • Step #8 Fry won tons in small batches 2 to 3 mins or until golden, turning once.
  • Step #9 Drain on wire racks over paper towels.
  • Step #10 Serve with Sweet Soy Sauce.
