Chicken Wontons With Hoisin Peanut Dipping Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps sliced fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 c finely shredded cabbage
  •  Peanut Dipping Sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 36 wonton wrappers
  • 1 c sliced cooked chicken
  • 2 tsps brown sugar
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  •  Peanut oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together first 7 ingredients.
  • Step #2 Spoon 1 tsp mixture in center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Step #3 Moisten wonton edges with water.
  • Step #4 Bring corners together, pressing to seal.
  • Step #5 Pour oil to a depth of 3 inches into a Dutch oven; heat to 375°.
  • Step #6 Fry wontons in batches until golden, turning once.
  • Step #7 Drain on wire racks over paper towels.
  • Step #8 Serve as soon as possible with Peanut Dipping Sauce.
