Smoked-trout Spread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c sliced green onions
  • 1 tbsp stick margarine or butter
  • 1/3 c part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 88 water crackers
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 lb smoked trout fillets, skinned
  • 1/2 c sliced celery
  • 1/4 c (2 oz) tub-style light cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions
  • Step #1 Break trout fillets into large pieces.
  • Step #2 Place trout pieces & the next 8 ingredients (trout through hot sauce) in a food processor/blender, & process until smooth, scraping the sides of processor bowl every once in awhile.
  • Step #3 Serve spread with crackers.
