White Bean Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 2 (15.5-oz) cans great Northern beans, rinsed & drained
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice
  •  Garnish: paprika
  • 1 tsp sliced fresh rosemary
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsps tahini

Directions
  • Step #1 Pulse garlic & rosemary in a food processor/blender 3 or 4 times or until minced.
  • Step #2 Add beans & next 4 ingredients; process until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  • Step #3 Pour olive oil slowly through food chute with processor running; process until mixture is smooth.
  • Step #4 Cover up & chill 1 hr.
  • Step #5 Garnish, if desired.
  • Step #6 Serve with crackers, pimiento-stuffed olives, sliced cucumber, & pitted kalamata olives.
