Green Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1 1/2 c sliced Vidalia or other sweet onion
  • 1 1/2 c sliced tomato
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb jalapeño peppers, stems removed

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat; bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Cover up, reduce heat, & let simmer 20 mins or until tender.
  • Step #3 Cool 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Place mixture in a mixer or food processor/blender, & pulse 15 times or until coarsely sliced (do not overmix).
